Today I work in the evening its not so bad but i don't get to see my wife till almost midnight as she will come home just after I have to leave for work. Not so fun but that's the joy of shift work, today I will be working on the Spirit Class vessel its pretty fun on there. As I am still working on getting my bridge watchmen ticket I still have to work in the Catering department a few days a month so Tonight I shall either buss tables or clean trays, not so bad as I have survived quite well for the last 7.5 years and they haven't been to bad to work with.
Only another 140 days to go and I have my ticket then I just have to wait for a full time deckhand position to come up.
It's sort of like an apprenticeship as you have to either go to school or just work till you finish your days then you can meet with Transport Canada and take your test :D I can't wait for that day as then I can use my seniority to take a fairly good position.
